Jungheinrich opens spare parts centre in Singapore
Customers throughout Southeast Asia and Oceania will benefit from shorter delivery time of up to five days and a significant increase in spare parts availability with the new Jungheinrich spare parts distribution centre in Singapore. A 24/7 dispatch from the distribution centre is also offered for particularly urgent customer needs. With the implementation of the regional spare parts distribution centre, Jungheinrich is taking a decisive step towards best-in-class spare parts logistics following its own European model.
Stefan Brehm, vice president of After Sales at Jungheinrich said, “The new spare parts warehouse for South-East Asia and the Pacific region will further strengthen our position as best-in-class in terms of spare parts availability for our customers. By reducing up to seven time zones compared to deliveries from Germany, we can react even faster to our customer requirements. Its central location in Singapore also allows direct delivery to all major cities and larger metropolitan areas in the region. For our customers, this means minimal downtime and maximum productivity. ”
In addition to customer service, environmental considerations at Jungheinrich also play an important role. The additional optimization of the transport network in the region will reduce CO2 emissions by 75% in the future. In addition, the warehouse, with its vertical lift systems (LRK) and lithium-ion powered vehicles, serves as an example of effective warehouse management.
