Lifting Magnet Firm Eriez Creates New Position

Eriez, Erie, Pa., which manufactures lifting magnets, has promoted John Mackowski to the newly created position of metalworking product manager. He will continue to report to Dan Zimmerman, director of business development. In his new role, Mackowski will be responsible for product management of Eriez’ Hydroflow and Magnamation products. "John will serve as the main liaison between field sales, engineering, production control, and manufacturing on product-related issues," said Zimmerman. "John will support the continued integration of the recently acquired Hydroflow product line." Eriez magnetic lift and separation, metal detection, x-ray, materials feeding, screening, conveying and controlling equipment have application in the process, metalworking, packaging, recycling, mining, aggregate and textile industries.
