LiuGong opens European headquarters

LiuGong Machinery Corp. has opened its European headquarters in Almere, Netherlands. The facility covers approximately 4,000 square metres and is conveniently located about 35km from Amsterdam.

The site will serve as LiuGong’s sales hub, technical support and spare parts distribution centre for existing and potential customers in the region.

“This new office will strengthen our presence as a top construction equipment manufacturer brand, and to service our dealers and customers in the whole European market,” said Wang Xiaohua, chairman, Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Corporation. “Our staff will be able to interact more closely with our customers in Europe, and gain a deeper knowledge and understanding of the needs of each local market. Not only will this allow us to react to customers more effectively, it will also help us develop products that will better meet the local requirements.”

LiuGong has been selling machines in Europe for more than five years. It sells over nine product lines, all are specifically designed to meet European requirements; from engine emissions regulations, to machine size and scale, to cab ergonomics.

The company rolled out a new finance program tailored for Europe last December and has begun retooling its newly acquired plant in Poland to begin production of excavators. 

LiuGong, headquartered in Liuzhou, China, has among the most expansive array of product lines of any Chinese manufacturer, including wheel loaders, excavators, truck mounted and crawler cranes, bulldozers, rollers, motor graders, forklifts, mini excavators, skid steers, backhoe loaders, pavers, cold planers, concrete equipment, drilling machines and mining dump trucks.
