Maritime Lifting Solutions Workshop Adds Speakers

The inaugural Maritime Lifting Solutions Workshop, December 7 -9, 2011, in Mobile, Ala., has added new speakers to the event, including Shaun Sipe, vice president of human capital, Barnhart Crane & Rigging, and John Colletti, president/CEO, CraneDoctor.

Hosted by the Alabama State Port Authority, Barnhart Crane & Rigging, Memphis, Tenn., and Woodland, Wash.-based Industrial Training International, the training workshop is targeted at organizations in shipping, stevedoring, terminal management, port authority, crane and rigging service, logistics, transportation, and original equipment manufacturing (OEM).

The event’s workshop sessions include Advanced Rigging Fundamentals, Barge Crane Operations, Special Issues in Major Component Logistics, Engineering Considerations for Ship-to-Shore Lifts, Multi-Crane Lifts, Critical Lift Planning, Load Handling Procedures, and Training, Qualification, and Certification of Personnel.
