New President and COO at Marine Travelift

Marine Travelift Inc., Sturgeon Bay, Wis., has announced the promotion of Erich Pfeifer to president and chief operating officer, effective yesterday (August 10, 2011). Pfeifer succeeded the company’s president and CEO for the past eight years, Steve Pfeifer, who will remain Marine Travelift’s CEO and will continue to serve the company "in a strategic and advisory role." Pfeifer joined Marine Travelift in 2003 as sales manager and was subsequently promoted to sales director of the Americas and then vice president of business development and marketing.
