New Tech Sales Engineer Joins Hirschmann | Industry News

Hirschmann Automation and Control (PAT), Chambersburg, Pa., has hired Jason Dean as a technical sales engineer in its Mobile Machine Control Solutions (MCS) division.

Dean’s responsibilities include OEM sales, engineering support, and identifying new markets for the MCS product portfolio. Hirschmann’s MCS division supplies information, monitoring, and control systems that meet OEM and aftermarket requirements in lifting applications.

Dean's extensive experience with load moment indicators (LMI) includes system design, customer specification, and field reliability. Before joining Hirschmann, Dean worked in the crane industry as a product design engineer working on all aspects of machine design and support, with a special focus on LMI systems, HMI interface, software, and electrical control systems.

Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
