Oana Samoila joins Almac as export area manager
Italian manufacturer of bi-levelling self-propelled scissor lifts and telescopic tracked booms, Almac Srl has appointed Oana Samoila as export area manager.
Samoila joins the company from low-level MEWP manufacturer, Bravi Platforms, where she previously worked for 15 months as a sales and marketing specialist, while serving as area manager for Italy, UK, Spain and Portugal.
Samoila will be based in Italy and will be taking on sales responsibilities for the management of Almac’s products in Italy and the UK with the goal to expand business and relationship in the countries while working in cooperation with the existing networks and locally based country sales managers such as Malcolm Kitt in the UK.
Prior to her time in the access industry, Samoila worked as a language specialist before going into bespoke course development and training, working as head of sales training for four years for the company International House.
Andrea Artoni, general manager of Almac said, “I’m very pleased that Oana is joining our team. She is a very motivated and well-prepared person and a great addition to our sales team. Her professionalism and ability to ‘think outside the box’ will definitely mix well with Almac’s unique way of doing business.
“The fast growth of our company and increased business sales – thanks to expanded and qualified worldwide partnerships, needed a stronger dedicated team in order to respond more efficiently to our partners and customers’ needs and expectations.
“I’m sure that together with Jonathan Vioni, our other export area manager and the rest of the sales team, we will definitely be able to reach our ambitious targets.”
