PulseTech Products Adds Two-Station HD Recovery Charger
PulseTech Products Corp. has introduced the SC-2, a two-station HD recovery charger. The charger is designed to recover, charge, maintain, and desulfate up to two 12-volt lead-acid batteries anywhere in the world.
Designed primarily for managers of smaller fleets, warehouse equipment, marinas, antique car collectors, and commercial shops, the recovery charger works with any 12-volt battery type, including VRLA, AGM, gel, and flooded cell. The dual-recovery charging stations operate in isolation, allowing any combination of battery brands or types to be recharged simultaneously.
Many commercial shops have batteries that are thought to be dead and useless. The SC-2 is able to recover the majority of these batteries and return them to pristine condition, saving money that would have been spent on new batteries.
The SC-2 has two independent channels that profile the condition of each battery and then automatically cycle through a recovery-and-charge process that applies the correct charge (variable up to 6A) and PulseTech¹s optimized high-frequency, patented Pulse Technology waveform to each battery. This advanced technology removes sulfate crystals from the battery plates, increasing the battery¹s ability to accept, store and release energy, extending battery life up to five times.
Five LED indicators next to each cable connection show the status of each battery channel. With a one-switch control and easy-to-understand LED information display (battery disconnected, bad battery, recovery charge, pulse charge, charge complete), the SC-2 is easy to use and understand. With only one switch to turn the unit on, there are no additional dials to set and no possibility of overcharging or overheating the batteries.
Cables fit in the case for easy storage. They are easy to disconnect and safely move to the next battery since no current flows through the cable until connected to the battery.
The SC-2 carries a one-year warranty.
