Scott Miller named MD of Kito Europe

Scott Miller has been named the new managing director of Kito Europe GmbH, the Düsseldorf-based subsidiary of the Japanese manufacturer. Miller was previously vice president operations of Manheim, Pa., USA firm Harrington Hoists Inc., which is a wholly-owned Kito Corp. subsidiary.

"After five-and-a-half years of business activity in the European markets, Kito Europe has positioned itself as one of the leading suppliers of premium hoisting products and technical support," said Miller, who brings more than 25 years of experience to the position. "It’s been fun and rewarding to help Kito grow in the North American market, and the opportunity to help us grow our presence in Europe was a challenge that was personally and professionally stimulating for me."

Kito Corp. continues to make progress on its midterm plan, in which it discusses a management goal to become globally integrated, sharing management talent across the global network of subsidiaries.
