Sinoboom receives first units from new European factory
Sinoboom BV has announced that the first units to roll off the assembly lines of the brand-new Sinoboom factory in Poland have arrived at their base in Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
Arriving in the week commencing May 30th, the delivery consisted of electric scissor lifts and, once through the customary PDI, will be heading out to customers in the very near future.
The proximity of the new facility in Poznań, western Poland, to Sinoboom’s European subsidiary represents a significant milestone in Sinoboom’s global strategy to provide high-quality products and services with a localized focus. It occupies an area of 20,000m2, and features industry-leading, fully automated assembly lines. The product lines produced at the facility include electric slab and rough-terrain scissor lifts, articulating and telescopic boom lifts, and other MEWP products to meet market demand, and it has an annual production capacity of 20,000 units. This development will enable a much more agile service in meeting the demand in Europe and other regions.
Tim Whiteman, CEO of Sinoboom BV, stated, “This demonstrates the determination and commitment of the Sinoboom group to become a permanent and integrated part of the European market. We have many more exciting developments on the way, contact us for an update!”
