Snorkel appoints sales director for East Asia

Snorkel, the global manufacturer of aerial work platforms has appointed Ken Goh as sales director for East Asia.

Based in Singapore, Ken has over 16 years of regional sales experience, the majority of which has been within technical and capital equipment sectors, including 6 years in aerial work platforms.  Ken joins Snorkel from Pramac (Asia) Pte Ltd, where he was responsible for regional sales and business development, as well as new product development.

Goh’s began his career in electrical engineering, following the achievement of first class honors degree in electronic and electrical engineering at The University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.  Working in commercial vehicles, Ken progressed to sales engineer, before moving into sales and marketing for a regional heavy equipment sales and leasing company. 

In his new role, Goh will be responsible for Snorkel equipment sales across East Asia, through the development of the existing Snorkel distribution network, as well as direct sales to rental companies and major accounts.

Snorkel CEO, Matthew Elvin said, “Ken’s appointment is further evidence of Snorkel’s commitment to better support our customers globally.  We have a strong footprint already in Asia through our distributors, and Ken will work closely with them to maximise the effectiveness of the network.
