Telehandler takes-on Carrara’s marbles
Magni has supplied Bocchi srl with the HTH 24.11 telehandler for use in the Carrara marble quarries. Among other features, it has been chosen for its ability to adopt to difficult terrain and automatic recognition of the attachments.
Magni’s HTH 24.11 is distinguished by a maximum lifting capacity of 24t and 14t at a maximum height of 10.5m, with a maximum outreach of 5.8m.
This model is suitable for use in quarries and mines due to its joystick control system, which allows smooth forward and backward movements, enabling optimal control during each movement.
Daniele Moscatelli, an experienced operator at the company, also emphasised how it can adapt to the most difficult terrain, allowing the vehicle to be levelled even when subjected to heavy loads. This is possible thanks to the hydrostatic transmission equipped on the HTH 24.11, with a 2-speed dropbox (forward and reverse) and 2WD/4WD gearbox.
The RFID system also facilitates automatic recognition of the attachments used, increasing the machine’s versatility in numerous operating contexts through rapid changeover between different industry-specific attachments.
With the HTH 24.11, Magni is renewing its commitment to safety, offering not only efficiency and productivity but also an intuitive and reliable system capable of tackling the steep slopes that characterise the Carrara quarry.
