Terex AWP to Launch New Scissors, Mast Boom
As the major tradeshow season approaches, Terex Aerial Work Platforms, Redmond, Wash., reports it will introduce several new Genie aerial work platforms at The Rental Show and ConExpo. The products include two mast boom products and three rough-terrain scissor lifts.
First introduced in Europe, the Genie GR-20J and GR-26J jib-equipped self-propelled vertical mast boom lifts provide operators who require outreach in confined spaces. With a lifting capacity of 440 pounds, the units respectively offer an “up-and-over” maximum clearance of 13'10" and 21'10" and maximum platform heights of 19 feet and 26 feet. Maximum horizontal reach on the GR-20J is 10'7", while the GR-26J is 10'3". The 140° jib range of motion and hydraulic turntable rotation enable the aerial lifts to deliver precise positioning. The GR26J will be on display at The Rental Show and ConExpo.
The new Genie RT69 Series of rough-terrain scissor lifts, which include the GS-2669RT, 3369RT and 4069RT models, feature improved performance, such as a front oscillating axle for handling in extreme jobsite conditions. Increased power and terrainability enables the machines to drive through sand, mud, and over curbs with ease. The RT69 family has been enhanced to increase horsepower by up to 30 percent, provide a larger platform work space, and employ a simplified link stack. The new design enables all three units to drive and function at full height. The Genie GS-4069RT will be shown at The Rental Show and ConExpo.
