Toyota Material Handling N.A. Adds Chief Procurement Officer | Industry News
Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) has appointed Kevin Alexander to the role of chief procurement officer. In this role, Alexander is responsible for developing and implementing a corporate procurement strategy and organizational structure to leverage the combined resources of Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc.(TMHU), Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg., Inc. (TIEM) and The Raymond Corporation.
“As a leading provider of material handling solutions TMHNA consistently evaluates ways to improve business operations reduce overall costs and maintain a lean operation,” said Brett Wood, president and CEO of TMHNA. “As chief procurement officer, Kevin’s experience aligning purchasing and supplier synergies will contribute to the overall success of TMHNA and Toyota Material Handling Group.”
Alexander brings more than 15 years of executive experience to TMHNA, most recently serving as vice president of global sourcing for Honeywell Security Group, Honeywell International, Inc. Prior to Honeywell, he was vice president of strategic sourcing at Dover Corporation’s Paladin Brands Material Handling division. He has also held leadership positions at The Boeing Company, Glasstech, Inc. and SKF USA, Inc. Alexander earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Toronto.
