UniCarriers Americas encourages girls into STEM careers

UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) has sponsored the inaugural GEMS (Girls in Engineering, Math and Science) Workshop at Huntley High School. Huntley, Illinois, USA.

The GEMS Workshop took place on 21 January and consisted of guest speakers and activities geared toward sparking the interest of young women in seeking a STEM-related career in the future. The lineup of speakers includes successful women working in STEM-related fields (Science Technology Engineering and Maths), including two female engineers from UniCarriers Americas.

James J. Radous III, president of UniCarriers Americas said “It is an honour for UCA to be able to sponsor an event that is sure to inspire and encourage young women to seek out exciting careers in the STEM field.
