Unicarriers expands its education programme
UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) has expanded its UniCarriers University College of Technical Service programme for 2016.
- The programme will continue to be curriculum-based along with a number of enhancements, including:
- The introduction of the “2016 Certification Program” curriculum, which augments the current 2014 certification program
- Changes to special package pricing for online training to offer more dealers the opportunity toparticipate in cost savings with the option to cover all re-certification training expenses
- A three-day, live General Parts Personnel course to cover all aspects of working in a parts department
- Continued expansion from UCA’s technical training team to support development of new course materials and hands-on training

Launched in 2012, UniCarriers University’s mission is to create a state-of-the-art educational platform to establish UCA’s service technicians and salespeople as the most highly skilled and knowledgeable material handling equipment representatives in the industry.
The curriculum-based programme for the College of Technical Service offers three certification levels of achievement apprentice, journeyman and master technician. The programmes are designed to build on the knowledge base of each technician, and technicians can achieve certifications through a mix of online training, classroom instruction and ASE certification.
