Van Beest Develops New Thrust Bearing Swivel System for Excel Swivel Sling Hook
Van Beest recently finished developing a new type of thrust bearing swivel system for the Grade 8 EXCEL swivel sling hook with clevis. The hook is equipped with needle roller thrust bearings that support rotation under load.
Made up of Grade 8 alloy steel, the swivel sling hook has a safety factor of four times the working load limit. It meets the EN 1677-2 standard and can be supplied with a works certificate, a 3.1 material certificate, and/or a EC Declaration of Conformity. The hook is finished in yellow or red paint.
