Ground protection and levelling at the ARA Show  

Dica, an industry-leading provider of high-performance outrigger pads and ground protection products, introduced two products at the 2025 ARA Show held in Las Vegas at the end of January.

Providing lightweight yet durable temporary access, EnviroMat allows users to set up vehicle roadways quickly and without tools. Its modular design supports various site configurations, while its micro-traction surface minimizes slippage, offering superior turf protection to maintain ground integrity under heavy loads.

For heavy-duty applications, XtremeMat is designed to create temporary access roads and platforms in conditions where conventional methods would fail. The large mats feature overlapping flange joints that bolt together forming a single rigid assembly. This feature allows users to combine XtremeMat together in any direction for modular site layouts.

Also on display was two popular solutions for rental fleets. “SlatTrax is a unique solution when it comes to ground protection. It is the only temporary roadway product that deploys and retrieves in minutes, while MaxiTrack is both heavy duty and maneuverable with an interlocking flanged design,” said Kevin Koberg, sales director for Dica.

Dica also announced the expansion of its award-winning LevelRight Outrigger Pad product line. First introduced in 2024, LevelRight is an efficient and reliable solution for achieving a safe and level setup on challenging terrain.

“LevelRight offers end users a dependable way to stabilize equipment quickly and effectively, regardless of terrain. By expanding this product line, we’re ensuring that rental fleets can meet a wide range of customer needs while maintaining the high safety and performance standards they expect,” said Kris Koberg, CEO of Dica.

The LevelRight Outrigger Pad is now available in four sizes- 12, 2, 30, and 35in -and are designed to maintain the same high standards of durability, ease of use, and safety. With the ability to adjust angles up to 10deg in multiple planes and support rated capacities of up to 350,000lb, the expanded line can be used with boom trucks, cranes, concrete pumps, and any outrigger enabled equipment.
