Digitalisation in the lifting industry is great challenge, but now a reality on many job sites. Pre-use checks are vital to pick up faults due to day-to-day wear and tear and malfunction of safety-related equipment. The operator of the equipment should act as the first line of defence in identifying any faults or damage. Such checks should be carried out before the lifting equipment is used during each working day or at the beginning of each shift. Failure to carry out a pre-use check can lead to accidents, injury and fatalities.

Yoke Industrial Corporation are formally launching the Digital Product Line. This line is now complete – over 1,200,000 items are now equipped with embedded digital chips enabling every individual immediate digital access to the documents such as EC Declarations of Conformity (or Declaration of Conformity or Certificate of Conformance)/Reports of Thorough Examination, user instructions, maintenance and pre-use check step by step documents just by scanning the Digital Chips using the NFC function in their mobile phone, no costly software required.

In addition to the Yoke Digital Product Line, other manufacturers are able to add their own manufactured item, such as chain blocks, lever hoists, beam clamps, lifting beams, the list is endless and develop their own Digital Product Line using any industry standard Digital Chips, including the Yoke SupraTag, Yoke SupraNano or other available Digital Chips.

Together with the Yoke Digital Product Line, the lifting equipment industry can now work together to complete one whole global Digital Product Line, solving the longstanding problem of access to documentation and pre-use inspection knowledge to the hands of the users.
